Dr. Courtney Johnson is a state-licensed psychologist and eating disorder specialist. After earning a master’s and doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Texas, she interned in Wichita, Kansas, receiving training in the diagnosis and treatment of eating disorders. She then completed postdoctoral work at Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital in Dallas, Texas. serving on a multidisciplinary team treating children with neurological and orthopedic conditions. Dr. Johnson moved back to Wichita, Kansas, and worked in private practice for many years with a primary focus on treatment of adults and teenagers diagnosed with disordered eating, depression, anxiety, and OCD. She enjoys collaborating with other professionals, attending conferences, and honing her skills as a diagnostician and therapist. She has relocated to Olympia, Washington, and continues to see psychotherapy clients via telemedicine. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, attending sporting events, and traveling.
